Finding
flights from the UK
Paphos
airport is 15 miles away from the villas and a
taxi
is the best way to
get you to the villas. It costs around 15 pounds. Larnaca airport is 90
miles away with the cost of a taxi of 35-40 pounds. Hiring a car at the
airport is a good alternative. The journey from Larnaca is just over an
hour and the motorway is good. Larnaca has the
busiest airport with most of the flight destinations arriving there.
During the peak season there are many flights from different UK cities
daily.
Although
car hire
is not
essential, it does enhance your holiday and gives you the freedom to visit
the sites of interest, explore the beaches and enjoy the many tavernas. Driving in
Cyprus is on the left (as in UK). National or international driving
licence required.
The villas are located near
the main town of Paphos (Cyprus) and very close to the best beach of
Paphos the Coral beach. The location of the villas is quiet with a lot of
idyllic space around for walks. There are common gardens that are well
maintained. You can print our area map and directions
page to get to the villas. The busy tourist area of Peyia
is just 3 miles from the villas.
There are local shops, a small
supermarket, a cafe and restaurants near the villas to go by car. A car is recommended to give you the freedom to move around as there
are so many things to visit.
We usually welcome our customers
personally but if this is not possible because of late night arrival we
will make arrangements for the key to be on the villa door. Please note
that a member of our family can be found nearly every weekend and most of
the summer period.(Tel +357 99 410 668).
Each villa have it's own swimming
pool that you can have access at no extra cost.
This is just a small list of
places to visit: Paphos District Archaeological Museum, Byzantine Museum,
Tombs of the Kings, Agia Solomoni Church, The Mosaics of Paphos, Paphos
Odeon, Paphos Medieval Fort, Sanctuary of Aphrodite, Petra Tou Romiou
(Aphrodite’s Rock), Agios Neofytos Monastery, Polis, Baths of Aphrodite,Waterpark, golf places,Akamas national park, paphos aquarium, paphos historical castle, paphos seacaves
Tavernas, restaurants and hotels
offer French, Italian, Indian, Chinees, Mexican and “international” menus. But they take pride
in preparing Cypriot food and specialties, especially in the tavernas and
the popular restaurants. These are some of the Cypriot dishes, which
delight both tourists and residents alike. Over 300 restaurants and pubs
are at Paphos.
